My birthday weekend started with a present I gave to myself: A trip down to Texas to see Travis and Julia. Houston is growing on me and the weekend was a lot of fun. Travis just got back from Europe so it was cool to see all of his pictures and hear his stories about places such as Cambridge, Amsterdam, Dublin, and Italy (among others) - places I have never been to but would like to visit now more than ever.Julia is just a really cool girl who I met the last time I was down visiting Travis. Isn’t that is a great picture of her?I stand by my earlier statement about the state: God Bless Texas.
